Threading

Threading is an ancient hair removal technique originating from South Asia that has gained popularity worldwide for its precision and effectiveness. This method involves using a twisted cotton or polyester thread to remove unwanted facial hair, particularly in areas such as the eyebrows, upper lip, chin, and cheeks.

During threading, the practitioner holds one end of the thread in their mouth and the other in their hands, creating a loop that is rolled and twisted over the targeted hair. As the twisted thread moves across the skin, it catches and removes the hairs from the follicles, providing a precise and clean result. Threading allows for intricate shaping and detailing, making it an ideal choice for eyebrow sculpting.

Threading is favored for its ability to create well-defined and symmetrical brows, leaving behind a smooth and groomed appearance. This technique is gentle on the skin, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin or those using retinoids or other skincare products.

Threading is a quick and efficient hair removal method, and its effects can last several weeks. It is often performed by skilled estheticians or threading specialists, ensuring a comfortable experience and achieving the desired outcome with minimal discomfort and irritation.
